Canadian Princess Resort
The Canadian Princess Resort in Ucluelet-Long Beach on Vancouver Island’s West Coast features great fishing at an incredible price. This unique resort has become on of Vancouver Island’s best loved fishing and adventure vacation destinations, based around the permanently moored 235’ Canadian Princess in Ucluelet Harbour.
Accommodation
Guests at the Canadian Princess Resort have two accommodation choices: the permanently moored ship and the shore-side hotel. Authentic ship rooms on board the Canadian Princess offer a lot of nautical character. Each cabin has bunk style bed and a washbasin; showers and washroom facilities are shared with other guests and are conveniently located nearby. Well-appointed shore-side accommodations offer traditional hotel-style accommodation. Rooms are available in various configurations, from single cabins to split-level lofts with four queen beds.
Activities
Sportfishing is the activity of choice at the Canadian Princess Resort. Deep sea cruisers with up to 22 passengers take guests to the salmon, halibut and bottom fishing hot spots along Vancouver Island’s West Coast on seven hour excursions. Salmon in the area can pass the 30 lb mark, while massive halibut can weigh in over 100 lbs.
Marine Eco-Adventures go to the heart of Vancouver Island’s wild life, and show guests eagles, bears, sea lions, whales and more, thriving in their natural environment. The coast has a vibrant culture of outdoor adventure, from golf to surfing to storm watching on the beach. Guests at the Canadian Princess enjoy easy access to Long Beach, Tofino, the Wild Pacific Trail and the spectacular Pacific Rim National Park.
Food & Beverage
After a hard day’s fishing, there’s nothing like a good meal and a frosty beer as you talk over the days events. Our Vancouver Island resort offers three dining options: the Stewart Dining Room, the Chart Room and the Quarterdeck Lounge, with pub-style meals for lunch and dinner and a hearty breakfast buffet early each morning. For a more upscale meal, the Wickaninnish Restaurant features sumptuous West Coast dining with a spectacular view of Long Beach. Meal plans can be arranged upon request.
