With the mercury rising on Vancouver Island, the fishing heating up and wildlife in the area, there's plenty to smile about at Painter's Lodge and April Point Resort - in fact, some anglers have needed to take a dip in the pool to cool off after returning from reeling in some nice fish on the waters. There's been fish in the high teens and low 20's hitting the docks recently. The ocean rapids tours have also been a popular choice with everyone returning with big grins and completely soaked. Not a bad way to spend a beautiful summer day!
