Some adverse weather conditions have limited fishing opportunities towards the end of trip number five, although limits of Chinook are still being taken and half a dozen large halibut in the 80 to 90 lb. range were brought home yesterday. A 131 lb. hali topped them all and landed Masterfisherman status for Greg Cowan.

Tom Burdan’s 31 lb. Chinook is leading the charge for the trip trophy, although slightly better weather tomorrow morning might allow someone to beat him out.

Another storm is due to move in late tomorrow afternoon but hopefully won’t impact our change over and, if I have calculated correctly, by the time it hits I should be into my second pint of Kilkenny at the local!
