The Bite was on this Morning

MV Charlotte Princess - June 29, 2011

A change in the weather is expected today with a westerly wind this morning swinging around to south westerly later this afternoon.

The fishing has been incredible once again.  Amidst blowing Humpback whales, the bite was on this morning on the east side with lots of Chinook and Coho being taken right on the surface at Cohoe, Andrews and McPherson Points.  Most caught between 7 and 15 pulls.

This afternoon John Glover brought in a 30lber caught off Andrews Point at around 24 pulls and right behind him Daniel Price reeled in a beautiful 36lber caught at around 17 pulls tight off Guina Point.
