These are the words spoken recently by a guest at April Point Resort to describe the fishing in the Discovery Passage, releasing 15 to 17 pounders so they could keep the ones over 20 lbs. Hot spots include the Lighthouse and Hump with the guides on top of fish, virtually all the time.

Just ask Darla and Dick Becker of Lakeside, Arizona who boated salmon at 13, 14, 21 and 10 lbs. or young Tanner Paulson of Lynwood Washington who on a recent trip with his father and grandmother, caught more fish than they did.
