The Spa at April Point 
It’s been a beautiful Saturday on Quadra Island. Kayakers were coming and going, eagles swooping and diving and of course the warm weather to be soaked up while sitting on the patio and enjoying a cool refreshment.
I learned something new while in the Spa today. Did you know that nail polish contains fish scales, (no fish are harmed in this process) this is what makes the polish shine…makes sense right? The Aveda Spa is now caring a line of “vegan” nail lacquer, no fish scales. All natural ingredients and it comes in a range of colors just like any other nail polish.
Tomorrow will be our last day of the Spring Fling Salmon Derby so be sure to look up the winners on Monday afternoon
