Today was a gorgeous day: the wind was light and the sea was less than three feet and sunny. This is not always a good sign to have a warm day while wearing the heavy gear. Even if one takes the top off, still it is warm. The only conciliation was the fishing was very good and the scenery was exceptional. Most of our guests were maxed out on their quota since yesterday. So, they just fill the vacant spots.
The following anglers were awarded Captain’s Club status today:
- Ken Cox of AB (52 lb. halibut)
- John Metcalfe of BC (40 lb. Chinook)
- Eric Bruener of WA (31 lb. Chinook)
- Andy Bellings of WA (37 lb. Chinook)
- Dean Pearson of WA (15 lb. Coho)
- Tony Lupo of WA (74 lb. halibut)
