We are having a high pressure system hanging over us for the last week. It is really a blessing although the some chill in the air due to northwest winds. I keep reminding our guests with using a good amount of sunscreen but the sun is still strong and the reflective rays from the sea surface are considerable. I am not complaining, this is great weather to go out and fish.
We are getting good weights for halibut and good numbers for Chinook and Coho. Our guests brought home 25 Chinook and 23 Coho today, plus the usual assortment of bottomfish. All in all, the fishing is great.
One of our guides commented on this weather saying that it looks as if we are fishing in Hawaii.
