Phenomenal fishing continues in the Queen Charlott

Queen Charlotte Islands Fishing Resorts - July 25, 2003

Reports continue to come in from the Queen Charlotte Islands about the consistent action on quality fish that can take off in incredible runs and try just about everything to shake their hooks. It's been great sport for anglers. Guests and guides are having trouble getting the second line down because of the action on the first. Often, there's not enough time between catching fish to refresh the coffee or attack the box lunch! Salmon continue to average 25 -40 lbs and a wide range of halibut are hitting the docks, anywhere from 20 lbs to 200lbs!

Congratulations to Zane Wei and his dad Sam from Alberta who landed a beautiful 54 lb Chinook. Yet another Masterfisherman with Oak Bay Marine Group!
