Queen Charlotte Islands Fishing Resorts - June 9, 2003

The mystical Queen Charlotte Islands have been known for their beautiful scenery, their native heritage and of course, their BIG FISH! During the past week, Oak Bay Marine Group guests have demonstrated that there are big fish just waiting to be caught in the Queen Charlotte Islands.

Congratulations to MV Salmon Seeker guest Jim Webster of South Dakota who snared a 101 lb hali, Washingtonian John Poulos wrestled in a 106 lb monster, but the season high (so far) goes to Bill Keevil whose halibut topped the scales at 130 lbs.

The MV Charlotte Princess has also seen its share of great catches. Dave Kitchen of British Columbia has the distinction of catching the season high Chinook salmon, weighing in at a whopping 57 lbs Congratulations to all and keep those great catches coming in.
