We are underway for another season at Kano Inlet and all early indications are promising. We haven't ventured out of the inlet yet as there is plenty of action on 20-30 lb. Chinook just minutes from the ship. As a nice welcome gift on our full day of fishing, Tony Hodgson brought a spectacular 55 pounder brought to the dock this afternoon proving that the big ones are still around. It also proves that you don't need to go very far to get them as Tony got his just 5 minutes from the ship in (soon to be renamed) Forty Four Pounder Bay. We're looking for a change in wind conditions soon and the continuing sunshine should make for some great fishing!
