As trip five guests descend upon the MV Salmon Seeker, they wasted little time claiming 10 Captain's Club spots with five Chinook and five halibut in just two and a half days! The weather continues to be great in Kano Inlet making for some great fishing.

New to our Captain's Club with Chinook over 30lbs. we have Yvonne Gauthier 30lb., Ruth Baumann 31lb., Ted Bradshaw 33lb. and Doug Simpson and Dick Perry, each netting 34lb. beauties. 

For halibut over 50lbs. we have Norman Bradshaw 50lb., Bud Ward 54lb., Randy Hintz 77lb. and David McMullen with a whopping 91lb. prize.   

As there is an abundance of salmon in the area, anglers are having no issue finding fishing hotspots.  The most popular hotpots in the Inlet include Fame Point, Black Rock to Green Slide and Kelp Bay.
