Hello anglers,

It’s Captain Zak, back on the great ship M/V Salmon Seeker.

The weather today is still overcast with some drizzle, which is good under the present relatively high temperatures. The fishing is still going strong and our guests are very happy about it.

The amount of total catch of the day tells the whole story: 39 Chinook, 33 Coho and an assortment of bottomfish.

The following guests were awarded Captain’s Club status for their efforts (along with their nice, big fish!):

• Patrick McGowan of CA (34 lb. Chinook; he also caught a 30 lb. Chinook yesterday)
