More big ones for the MV Charlotte Princess

MV Charlotte Princess - June 18, 2002

A great salmon run has hit Langara Island, and MV Charlotte Princess guests are reaping the rewards of the sea. Roland Lodge of Paradise Valley Arizona reeled in a nice 50 lb. salmon to become a member of the Masterfisherman club. It's his fourth time to the MV Charlotte Princess and first time in the club, earning him an additional 10,000 Fanatic Fishing Club points. He was joined by the Charlotte Princess Fishmaster who caught a nice 51 lb. slab. The beautiful weather has encouraged guests to spend more time on the water - some releasing Chinook up to 30 lbs! Even the Coho are in the area; they're still small at 5-7 lbs, but providing some excellent sport fishing. There are also reports of whales and porpoises in the area - always an added bonus for those interested in a little sight seeing.
