Hey folks, Cookie here again. Salmon fishing at Langara has remained strong with most boats limiting out on salmon. The fog wasn’t enough to stop Ivan Nachtigal from landing a beautiful 51lb Chinook off of McPherson Point at 12 pulls in a bait ball. Steve Christianson caught a 29 and thirty pounders in one afternoon while honorable mention should go to Brent Robinson for a 39lber caught off of Andrews and Ricky Knowles for a 35lber. Debbie Hill Spencer brought in a 16lb coho which is awesome for so early in the season. The hali fishing has been solid with multiple large halis being taken off the Lighthouse. The Wong family came in yesterday with a 53 and 38lb halis after a quick afternoon bottom bonk. Anyway folks I need to get back out to Coho Point for the high slack so I’ll be in touch.
