After finally getting into Kano Inlet, guests’ patience was rewarded with some great fishing over the weekend with limits of mid to high twenties Chinooks a common sight. Two 35 pounders shared the trip honours for Evan Kerr and Peter Brown and Tyee were also landed by Audrey Faulkner, Terry Cardy and Glen Kitsch. Halibut were all of the “chicken” variety.
The warm sunny weather being enjoyed by everyone down south has now returned to the north and is forecast to stay with us for the remainder the current trip. As usual, these conditions are accompanied by moderate winds and seas but we are hoping for a repeat of last trip’s action.
