Today is CANADA DAY and what a great day it is for our guests who are winding down from their trip but the weather was magnificent with 4 days of sunshine and calm waters.
The fishing started slowly on Day 1 with just 2 Guests earning Captains’ Club pins, Emmitt Pitts 31 lb. and Scott Boelke with a 32 lb. Chinook.
Day 2 was electric with 5 Guests earning Captains’ Club, Barry Guarino 30 lb. , Cheryl Evans 31 lb. , Bryan Terhune 34 lb. , John Powers 35 lb. all Chinooks with Scott Boelke pulling in a 54 lb. halibut but Butch Whitehead became a MasterFisherman with him hauling in a 140 lb. halibut.
Day 3 was fantastic with 2 Captains’ Club additions with Ashton Williams 30 lb. Chinook , Rob Terhune 60 lb. halibut and a repeat from John Powers with a 95 lb. halibut. But the real story is 3 new Masterfishermen on the same day. The largest halibut went to John Powers Jr. with a 195 lb beast and to a husband and wife team of Kim and Annette Hage catching 134 lb. and 116 lb. halibut side by side.
