MV Salmon Seeker guests were hit with a little northern style 'weather' over the long weekend but that didn't dampen their fishing prowess as they caught their limits of Chinook and Coho in just 2 1/2 days!

We had 11 new Captain's Club inductees, three with halibut over 50lbs. and eight for salmon over 30lbs. Jon Nommensen received a Masterfisherman award for hauling in a 107lb. Halibut. The winner of the Oak Bay Marine Group clock award for catching the largest salmon of the trip went to Brian Tollen for his 37lb. Chinook.
