Fishing continues to be excellent at Painter's Lodge and April Point Resort in the Discover Passage and Campbell River area with a resort record 44 lb chinook brought in earlier in the week. Springs are averaging in the mid teens and many tyees in the 30's are also hitting the docks through mooching and the more traditional tyee fishing from rowboats in the World Famous Tyee Pools. There are a good number of Pinks in the area as well as hatchery Coho. Anglers are having the best luck fishing with flasher-hootchie combinations, spoons and plugs at Deepwater and Green Sea Bay.
