Anglers continue to hit the water at Painter's Lodge and April Point Resort and return with great stories, smiles on their faces and fish in their boats. There are Chinook, Coho, Chum and a few Pinks in these waters for those wanting to hook into some salmon. For those wanting to spot wildlife, there are plenty of sightings in the area as well. Only last week a Wildlife Adventure Tour was out in the water and became surrounded by a pod of transient Killer Whales. These whales had surrounded a very frightened seal. To escape the whales, the wild seal leapt into the zodiac for about 25 minutes. Seal 1, Whales 0. A trip that no one will ever forget.
