Hey folks,
Fishing is still awesome, with all boats who choose to limiting out on Chinooks and Cohos. Some larger fish are also coming in to the dock.
Yesterday we had a 42 pounder from Andrews Point and a 45 pounder from No Name Point top the list yesterday.
The halibut seem to be everywhere this year, as many people are catching them while fishing deep for salmon. The average Chinook size is around 19-22 lbs. and the average Cohos are 7-8 lbs. Many boats are reporting 20 or more salmon to the boat each day.
Any day now we should see some 50+-pounders hit the dock. Maybe I’ll go catch one right now, just to prove they’re here.
