The first trip of the season to Kano Inlet in the Queen Charlotte Islands produced some excellent fishing. Guests reported catching and releasing 16 to 20 Chinook a day as well as limiting out on halibut and bottom fish. The record so far is a 56 lb. Chinook caught by Robert Greneveld; the largest halibut of the trip, a 75 lber, was nabbed by Frank Urata. "Truly awesome and blown away" are words guests used to describe this trip. What a great way to start the season!
