We had our first fish of the season hit the April Point dock this afternoon.   Jennifer caught a beautiful 18.3 lb Chinook. “That was awesome” she kept saying from the moment her feet hit the dock. All the way from Fort St. John Jennifer was ecstatic to have been the first to bring a fish to the dock.

Some Kayakers took advantage of the beautiful weather. They spotted some seals basking on the log booms and harbour porpoises playing in Gowland Harbour.

Now we all know what it’s like to get excited at work for silly reasons. A pen with your logo on it or a shiny new sign for your business; even a new uniform can be thrilling to some people. Well I hit the jack pot last night. I received a new zoom lens for my camera. YAY! To some this is pretty uneventful but for me this is like Christmas. So of course I’ve taken lots of pictures today, check them out.
