First Masterfisherman on the MV Charlotte Princess

MV Charlotte Princess - June 14, 2002

The MV Charlotte Princess crowned her first Masterfisherman on the last trip with a nice bright 52 lb. Chinook caught off Guinea Point. With a turn in the weather, the fishing has improved with consistent action across the area. Hot spots continue to be Andrews and Coho Point. Salmon are averaging 20-35 lbs with a few over 40 showing up. Halibut are also a popular target at this time of year with a 66 lb. halibut the season high so far. Whales have been spotted in the area and as always, there are bears combing the beaches.

Congratulations to Lori Montgomery or Danville, California for this Masterfisherman catch - what a beauty!
