The crew on the MV Salmon Seeker, nestled in Kano Inlet report exceptional salmon fishing in their waters. There are plenty of Chinook being caught up to 48 lbs. and Coho up to a whopping 16 lbs. Guests are limiting out, but spending most of their time catching and releasing because of the sheer volume of salmon in the area.

Halibut fishing is also hot in the on the west side of the Charlottes. Recently, Andrew Derrick wrestled a 212 lb. halibut to the boat with his fishing partner Marvin. The following day, Marvin landed a 113 lb. monster as well. That's a whole lot of halibut! As for the weather, it's been perfect for fishing - calm seas and light winds, a perfect time to be on the water.
