Bigger, and more.

King Salmon Resort - August 3, 2007

BC king salmon fishingThe big fish continue to show more and more each day.

King Salmon guest Howard Strey kicked things off with a nice 41 lb. Chinook, Bob Haddorff boated a 48 pound Chinook and Chauncey Morton nabbed a 46 pound Chinook. If that’s not enough for you, check this out: Rick Anderle coazed a 51 pounder out of McPhee Bay—the same place his partner, Alan Schmidt landed a 51 pounder the day before!

Marker 16 and the Slide seem to be the good production spots. If you all want to land one of these stellar fish I recommend 16 pulls off one rod, 22 off the other and always keep one at 5-8 pull. With a bit of patience you’re be the one we are writing about!
