The biggest fish load of the season accompanied our trip # 15 guests on their departure yesterday. This may be attributed to the great weather that we are enjoying or to the fishing skills of this particular group, but in case there were lots of happy faces boarding the plane. The winner of the trip Trophy was Trenton Strum with a 42 lb. Chinook and a host of new Captains Club members in all categories including Coho over 15lbs.

Lots of catch and release Chinook fishing going on just now, which we haven't seen for some time, so hopefully the last part of the season will turn out to be a bonanza for those guests who have waited until August to make the trip up here to Kano. Calm seas and clear skies are still with us with a bit of morning fog thrown in to keep us occupied. No major weather change in the forecast.
