Hey folks! Cookie here once again with my first report for the 2009 season.
We’ve had the best start I have seen in 4 years. Everybody is getting into Chinooks with double and triple headers happening to the lucky ones. Cohoe and Andrews Points have been hot on both tides, with fish being taken from eight down to 70 pulls.
A beautifull 35 lb. Chinook came in yesterday and the Coho have shown up early.
The weather has also been spectacular, and numerous humpback whales have been putting on shows every day.
Our bottom fishing excursion to the west side went well with a 65 lb. hali topping it off.
It’s shaping up to be a great season and I expect to see our first 50 lb. Chinook hit the dock any day now.
Tight lines,
