Best of the season (so far)
Langara Island Fishing Resorts - August 12, 2007Hey folks, Cookie here again. Some of the best fishing of the season is upon us and the weather couldn’t be nicer.
Trying to pour my first cup of coffee yesterday morning on the water I was rudely interrupted by 33 and 25 lb. Chinooks on a double header right off of Cohoe Point. Soon all the guests joined in and had equal successes on Chinooks and Cohos.
A good number of 12 to 15 lb Cohos are present and helped almost every guest limit out on the last trip. Cohoe Point has been the hotspot from 35 to 70 pulls. Of course today I leave for 5 days out just when the fishing is at its best. Just my luck. See you soon.
