I'd just like to say a big thank you to start off!
My trip to the MV Salmon Seeker was absolutely amazing! I couldn't have asked for better weather and the sea gods seemed to smile at our boat as the water was flat and the salmon were plentiful!
After the amazing tree skimmer of a helicopter flight to the resort, my friend and I enjoyed a rack of ribs before heading out with our guide to Fame. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient as he taught us the tips and tricks of his trade. I must have let go 20 Chinook in four hours and boy was my arm tired!!
The next day we motored out to Freeman and again we were catching Chinook right left and center. This is where the double headers were almost a guarantee and Jo and I pulled in some beauties.
Over the next few days I had a chance to film some sea lions, catch some great halibut and even got a Coho. It's an amazing area and there sure wasn't a lack of great food or service from the crew.
