Trip #11 ended with a 208lb. and a 270lb. halibut landed by Vern Lumbert and Andy McFarlane . A whole whack of 30 plus Chinook were also brought home on the last full day of fishing with the trip trophy being awarded to Gary Emberson for his 38lber.

Trip #12 is starting in the same manner with eight new Captain's Club Members and two new Masterfishermen. 136lb and 194lb were the big halibut that earned the prizes for Shane Armstrong and Glen Finnson - two Alberta boys for whom it was necessary to explain that the MF on their new caps stands for Masterfisherman and not Massy Ferguson as commonly known by our visitors from east of the mountains.

Great fishing weather with calm seas and clear skies have assisted in great fishing over the last few days. Either that or the superb skills of our Salmon Seeker guides and anglers.

Nah! Must be the weather!
