Hey folks, Cookie here again. Fishing remains strong here at Langara. Guests are catching up to 30 salmon a day, Cohos, Chinooks, Pinks and Chum. Chinook are coming deep with lines at 50 pulls working well. Some are being caught right off the bottom. Gunia Point produced our biggest Chinook of the season yesterday for Herb Stoops, weighing in at 48lbs. Alex Seeburger picked up a 35lb. beauty two days ago off of Lacy Island. Lots of nice halis coming off the east side with yesterdays biggest going to Tae Lee for his 40 pounder caught off of Gunia Point.
