Tiffany – Conference & groups manager
Painter’s Lodge, Campbell River
I have been part of the Oak Bay Marine Group crew for about five years. This past season I worked at Painter’s Lodge in Campbell River as the conference & groups manager.
I have been very fortunate throughout my five years with the company to have had the opportunity to work in several different departments within Oak Bay Marine Group. The Oak Bay Marine Group has given me more learning opportunities then I could have ever asked for. I have worked at the Oak Bay Marina gift shop, the accounting department, the group sales department, in the executive office and most recently Painter’s Lodge. Throughout the past five years with Oak Bay Marine Group they have been very supportive and always encouraged me to keep trying new things.

It is wonderful to come to work each day and smell the salt water, see the fish coming in on the dock and to have a beautiful view of the ocean. I organize and execute all the conferences, weddings and large group retreats at Painter’s Lodge. I manage all the groups’ food and beverage, fishing trips and meeting requirements. I love that my job allows me to work with every department at the resort. Each group is always different and always doing different things. The best part about my job is that it is always changing.
I always look forward to a new season, new faces and new challenges. I hope others will consider employment at Painter’s Lodge so they can enjoy the ocean, sun and new friends that will meet each season.
