Where do you start when you have been with a company for 15 years and counting!
I work in the sales department as a Reservation Coordinator. I have always traveled and also loved to fish, so I thought, why not get paid for it!
The key aspect of my job is providing excellent customer service. I believe this is why we have such a fantastic customer return. Another important part of being a Reservation Coordinator is to be able to listen to what your guests really want and then provide choices and direct them to the proper holiday. Being positive in the sales department is also an asset because when the phones are ringing it can be very stressful! So remember the golden rule and treat guests how you would like to be treated.
Another great thing about my job is that it allows me to travel to some major cities to attend the “Sportsman Shows”. That way I can finally put a face to the name of my guests who I normally only make contact with through the phone or via email. I believe this one-on-one time is also a great way to really showcase the Oak Bay Marine Group.
I have always been a people person so what’s better then to connect with people from all over the world that want to travel to beautiful British Columbia and the Bahamas….Mon!
