Geoff – Marine mechanic
Painter’s Lodge, Campbell River
My name is Geoff and I am currently employed at Painter’s Lodge in the Marine division as the boat mechanic. I work on the Boston Whalers that take our guests out on fishing trips and also on the two inflatable zodiacs used for whale watching and nature tours.
I first started at Painter’s Lodge at a young age on the dock in 1996. Since then I’ve guided (at Painter’s Lodge as well as the Salmon Seeker), driven the zodiacs on whale watching and nature tours, along with periodically working on boats and motors. OBMG has allowed me to advance in the marine industry and further my knowledge in the field.
I really enjoy working in such a great environment with my fellow crew mates and meeting guests that come from all over the world to enjoy our hospitality and awesome country.
