In April 2010, I celebrate my 8th year with the Oak Bay Marine Group. I was hired in 2002 to help in the Accounting Department at our beautiful Victoria office and now I supervise the payroll for all our Canadian properties. It’s been very exciting to watch the company expand and improve over the past 8 years and I’m proud to have been a part of it.
I couldn’t ask for a nicer place to work. My office overlooks the Oak Bay Marina where playful seagulls and seals compete for the attention of tourists just outside my window. On lunch breaks I walk along the ocean for inspiration and serenity.
The best part of working at the Oak Bay Marine Group is definitely the people. We hire the most amazing people from management to the frontline! Working with, and getting to know, all the people that work at the different properties is what I love the most about my job.
