Dave – Marine operations manager
Painter’s Lodge, Campbell River
I started my career with Oak Bay Marine Group in 2002. I first came to Campbell River as a fishing guide. I spent three summers living the dream on the water and having fun while attending school in the off season. Wanting to get more experience, I went to work in the accounting department and then moved into managing the Oak Bay Marina. In the fall of 2007 I made the move back to Campbell River, and now work as the Marine Operations Manager for Painters Lodge and April Point Resort & Spa.
The best part of my “job” is the variety. I have the balance of working inside and out. Plus I still get to do some fishing and take out our adventure tours. I’m with Oak Bay Marine Group because of the opportunity to move around, make great connections, and have fun at work.
