Job Description:

The Guide is responsible for ensuring that the guest has a productive, entertaining and safe experience on the water. The Guide must be of professional level in boat handling, fishing and fish processing skills, plus be an excellent communicator, knowledgeable naturalist and a good storyteller. The Guide has the ultimate responsibility in guest service, providing personalized, one on one service to the guest in a close environment for a minimum of 10 hours per day.

Working Conditions:

All four Northern Resorts are located in remote areas off the west coast of British Columbia. All Crew members work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day and are paid on a daily rate. Depending on the resort, our season runs approximately 70 to 100 days. During this time it is important for our Crew to eat properly and ensure they get adequate amounts of sleep. All room and board is provided at no charge. Each resort has different Crew quarters and you may be required to share a room. Timeout, if arranged at the beginning of the season is available for 4-7 days.
