Job Description:
Reporting to the Charters Manager, the Skipper is responsible for the safe operation of Charter boats and ensuring that all crew and guests have been notified of our safety procedures plus our general policies and procedures, customer and crew relations, cleanliness standards and vessel operating procedures. The Skipper is a key support person to the Charters Manager in achieving the goals and consistent quality operation of our Charter service for the resort on a day-to-day basis. The Skipper is a key member of our team, acting as both a leader and a team player, the Skipper must work closely with the Charters Manager, Operations Manager and General Manager to achieve objectives in the areas of operations, people, product, environment and controls. Must be a patient, organized and high energy, hands on individual with a common sense approach. Must posses a strong understanding of mechanics and marine environments, a strong commitment to exceeding guests expectations and excellent communication skills are mandatory for this position.

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Master Limited Waters 60 ton Certificate
- Occupational First Aid
