Description:
The Guide is responsible for ensuring that the guest has a productive, entertaining and safe experience on the water. The Guide must be of professional level in boat handling, fishing and fish processing skills, plus be an excellent communicator, knowledgable naturalist and a good storyteller. The Guide has the ultimate responsibility in guest service, providing personalized, one on one service to the guest in a close environment for a minimum of 10 hours per day.
Responsibilities:

To equip boat with appropriate salmon fishing gear and VHF radio

To take report any routine and non-routine maintenance required for boat for availability

Report all incidents to Maine Operations Manager

To act as ambassadors to Oak Bay Marine Group

To be responsible to check schedule for any changes

To be on appropriate dock 15 minutes prior to scheduled charter time

To follow all OBMG and DFO fishing regulations and guidelines

To clean and bag all guests' fish in accordance with OBMG procedure
