Job Description:

The First Cook is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the daily kitchen set up and tear down are maintained to standard while executing the direction of the Chef and Sous Chef to achieve cost efficient and high quality of product.

Skills:

    • Excellent Saucier Skills
    • Experience in all line positions
    • Advanced knife skills
    • Advanced soups, stocks, sauces, dressing, vegetables, starches knowledge
    • Understanding of front of house operations and functions
    • Minimum of 5 years experience
    • Food Safe (Level 1 & 2)
    • WHIMIS
    • Apprentice or Red Seal journeyman qualified
    • Occupational First Aid
    • Competency in Microsoft applications and Squirrel
