Victoria, British Columbia - Once known only as a fisherman’s paradise, Painter’s Lodge has changed with the tides by expanding their activities to welcome travelers looking for outdoor adventure and educational getaways.
To kick-off the 2009 season, both Painter’s Lodge and April Point Resort & Spa will offer a variety of creative getaways in their Live and Learn Series: including: beginner watercolour, intermediate bridge, Latin & ballroom dancing, belly dancing, journal writing, meditation in photography, bird watching, kayaking, fly-fishing, travel sketching and harp playing.
All workshops include two night’s accommodation at either Painter's Lodge or April Point Resort & Spa, along with instruction. Packages range from $179.00 -$199.00 based on double occupancy—single occupancy rates are also available. Classes run throughout May and again in October, 2009.
