How do I earn Fanatic Fishing Points?

Points are awarded on fishing fly and drive-in packages to one of our BC fishing lodges with a minimum of two nights of accommodation and two BC fishing trips. Points are awarded for a la carte reservations to any of our BC fishing resorts or our Caribbean beach resort that are booked through an OBMG reservations coordinator or via their travel agent. A la carte reservations must total a minimum of $500.00 (pre-tax) per person.

When are the Fanatic Fishing Points awarded?

Points are automatically awarded after your trip has been completed.

How do I redeem my Fanatic Fishing Points?

There are two ways to redeem your points: call your reservation coordinator and place your order over the telephone or check out the on line catalogue and fill out the order form to redeem your points.

Can I redeem my points for a free trip?

Yes. Please call your reservation coordinator to discuss which resorts and what length of stay you are looking for.

How long will it take before I receive my Fanatic Fishing Club order?

We ask that you allow up to six weeks for delivery of merchandise rewards. Some items are specially ordered and may require more time.

Can points be transferred from one guest to another?

No. Points cannot be transferred from one guest to another including family members, friends or in the event of death.

Can "group leaders" collect the points for guests that they are paying for?

No. Points earned by group bookings are assigned to the individual group members.

If I do not have enough points for an item can I pay the difference in cash?

No. All points have no cash value.

How are Fanatic Fishing Bonus Points awarded?

Bonus points are awarded for Masterfisherman catches and by referring new customers to the Ambassador’s Circle.

How long are Fanatic Fishing Points valid?

All points on accounts which remain dormant for a period of 3 years (i.e. you have not traveled with Oak Bay Marine Group for three seasons) will be removed from the guest’s account.
